July 2012- Well, the construction started on the garage additon for the babies. It was a wild week form the electric to the propane line being broken. The concrete was finally poured and I put Haylee and Jules paw print in the foundation. These girls are two of my first loves with my mastiff family. Wrote a special message to my hubby. Next week they will start building the addition, then it wont be long everyone will be inside AC.
Nov 2012- I have worked very hard to try and get the doggie condo complete before first snow fall, so far I have made it. LOL! I have added all of the kennels inside mounted them to the walls. I have running water to the condo, washer is hooked up and working. Now all I need to do is get a little electric done and I should be almost complete.
Mike and I had a dream together to open a grooming/boarding business. This was our lifetime goal together. I wasn't sure if I wanted to still have our dream since he is no longer here with me, but after several months of thinking about it. I have decided to start late fall 2012 on the construction. Even though it was our dream together, I know in my heart that he will be there right by my side. I have a love and a passion for all animals and I am so excited to start this venture.
Dec 2012- Decided to retire from my job after 23 1/2 years. It was a big decision that I had to make, but to make our dreams come true and get the construction started this is what I had to do. Hopefully by late spring I should be open for business. I have also decided to go to grooming school, hopefully I can get this started by mid February 2013.
March 2013- I will be starting Petropolis Grooming School.
May 2013- I will be starting construction on our dream grooming and boarding business.
July 2013- I started on Mike and my dream.
Dec 2013- Our dream came to life, I opened my kennel and groom shop. it turned out much better than expected. Mike and I had our dream drawn on a notebook piece of paper for over 4 years. I used this drawing to design my shop and Wow! we did it baby it is a beautiful place.
